So the last great top flight free agent that remains offensively was Cody Bellinger.

So from what I've been able to decipher, and some of this has been reported, and I'm sorry if I'm repeating it, the Yankees have offered five years, $160 million to Cody Bellinger.

And from what I've been told, they will include a huge signing bonus.

And they will give opt-outs after the second and the third year of the five-year deal.

Now, I've been trying, I have not been able to find out what the signing bonus is,

but I've been told that it is in fact significant.

And the Yankees have had that offer on the table as it's presently constituted for about a week

to 10 days and it was reported by Bob Koppish over the weekend the Yankees are not budging

from that number or that offer and this is where social media really does illuminate how a fan base thinks.

So over the weekend, I saw so many posts, tweets, whatever you want to call them, out there.
