Sam Donald is going to the Super Bowl, and there is some revisionist history going on about how could the Jets have let him go.

But you heard what Steve Young said, and I said it earlier, he didn't play well for the Jets. Now, the Jets probably put a situation

together where he couldn't play well. But let's bring him Brian Costello. He was there,

he saw it, he documented it for the New York Post, and he joins us now. Brian, how are you doing?

I'm good, Michael. How are you? Good. Let's start off because we used to have him on as a weekly,

and he was as a weekly,

and he was really a delightful, terrific young man.

In your experience with Sam, what kind of guy was he?

Great guy.

Tremendous guy.

I mean, the post set me out to USC the year before he was drafted.

I remember 2017, we kind of knew the direction the Jets were going, and he was the hot quarterback after that game against Penn State in the Rose Bowl. So I went out there and spent time with him at USC, and I mean, I was blown away by just how mature he was and what a great guy was, and he was like that the whole time with the Jets, which is why I don't think you can find Jets fans that are upset with Sam or rooting against Sam in this thing. I think fans felt that way. I've heard from a bunch of people this morning that were with the Jets back then, you know, talking about how they're so happy for the kid that he's developed into this and made for the Super Bowl. All right. So you documented every play that he played for the Jets. What went wrong?
