There's that time again for quick takes and it is officially official.

The Washington Commanders are under new ownership after NFL owners unanimously

approved the team's sale from the Snyder family to the Josh Harris group.

Dan Snyder had owned the franchise since 1999.

Maddick Johnson is now a partner in the ownership group and so a lot of changes

are happening in Washington. Harry, what do you think?

I think this is a great day in the national football league but also for the DMV area.

And I was in that area a lot this spring, being a field analyst for the XFL.

And that area really want, they want a winner. They really want a winner but I just think

for a guy like Daniel Snyder and the way he's staying that organization,

I think it's a bright day. You look at a guy like Maddick Johnson who's going to be able to be a

cold owner and he touched on this when it came to the black community. This is the reason why

I think it's so imperative and it's big. It's because our young generation has a visual

of things that they probably aspire to be and want to do in life.

Maddick Johnson owning a football team that's huge when you look at all the other business

ventures he's been into and has success with, I think it's major in that capacity but

they have some work to do because they're going to have to be able to get those fans back

and try to, you know, remove some of the thoughts that they may have within the organization

because of Daniel Snyder but I think they're up for the challenge. So a great day in the national football.
