Hey, well, we got a lot to get to this hour.

More and more people are going over the Seth Myers appearance last night by Joe Biden,

and it's looking more and more scripted, rigged, scripted.

There are moments in there that are pretty obvious.

There's a lot of moments where he's asked a question, or it's not even really a question,

where Seth Myers just says something, and Biden quickly replies with a great punchline.

Those moments look very scripted.

Then there's another one where Seth Myers asked him about Taylor Swift, and suddenly Biden pulls a prop out that he had made up just for the Taylor Swift question.

Now, that's not scripted.

You're the president of the United States.

First of all, you wouldn't assume you're going to be asked about Taylor Swift,

but he's got this prop ready.

So pretty scripted. Now, that's not unusual in late-night talk shows. They do, 99% of the time, whether it's Letterman or Carson or any of those

shows or the current shows. There's a talent coordinator who books you on the show. Then they have what's called a segment

producer, and the segment producer will call the guest ahead of time, and they'll do a little

phone interview where they'll set up some stuff, they'll plan what you're going to do on the

interview, and then they'll write that out for the host.

Now, a lot of times it's just, especially when you got an actor or an actress, they're very boring, these actors and actors.

And they've got nothing to say.

I mean, you know, even if it's a big star actor, what are they going to say?

I'm really excited about my new film, and I love this character, because... do that one. And, you know, so he's got a really funny story about when he was in Rome.

He's got a really funny story about backstage at the Oscars. And they'll put that on the notes
