So I've seen a lot of this over the last couple of days, people comparing the resumes of

Mike McCarthy and John Harbaugh and how similar they are.

I mean, and it is strikingly similar wins and losses, playoff wins, amount of Super

Bowls, regular season wins, all of these things.

That's the years of coaching. I think Mike has been a head coach in the NFL for 18 years. Yeah. Just like John. The number of years they have done it. So, you know, then the question is, how come we are not coveting Mike McCarthy in the ways that we are coveting John Harbaugh? So I'll give you a couple of reasons why I think that might be the case.

One is that Mike McCarthy has been fired now from two different places. So there were two places

that were yelling and screaming about we got to get McCarthy out in two big places, by the way,

in Green Bay and Dallas, where those fan bases were done with that particular guy.

And then when they moved on from that guy, at least in Green Bay's case, they still had success.

Dallas will see what happens with Schottenheimer in the years to come.

But it was sort of like, all right, he was done in two different places that a lot of people pay attention to.

And John Harbaugh has stayed in the same place, and we really

didn't hear about a lot of dissension in the ranks or the fan base wanting him out until

the very end of this year. And if they had made that field goal at the end of that game, we

wouldn't be hearing about it today. That's exactly right. So I think that's part of the

perception. And the other thing, and I honestly believe this, the other thing I think is when you're

comparing John Harbaugh and Mike McCarthy, that people look at John Harbaugh as an in-shaped guy,
