Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Bucks Xton Show podcast.

0:05.4

Welcome in our number two Clay Travis Bucks Xton Show. Appreciate all of you hanging out with us as we

0:10.2

roll into the Memorial Day weekend. And obviously Memorial Day weekend about honoring and respecting

0:18.8

everyone who has given us the freedoms to be able to have the good fortune to live in the

0:24.4

United States. And we talk sometimes on this show, both Buck and myself, we're pretty big

0:30.1

history nerds. And Buck, I will say one of the coolest things I've ever gotten to do from a

0:36.4

history nerd perspective. I don't know if you've gotten to go. I don't know if we've talked about

0:39.9

this. I got to go to spend the day touring the beaches of Normandy several years ago. And when

0:48.0

you get to the United States cemetery there and you see all of those white crosses as far as you

0:55.6

can see of those young teenage 20 something at best oftentimes are in their 30s. But most of the

1:09.6

enobling experience. And what's wild is even 70 some odd years after January, June 6th of 1944,

1:25.4

It hasn't changed very much in that area of France. And so as we sort of move into Memorial Day,

1:33.1

obviously a lot of you also are going to be hanging out with friends. I know Buck,

1:37.7

down in Miami, you're going to have some friends over to to urine carries place. I'm sure that

1:43.2

we'll do the same in the Nashville area. Spend some time with friends and family much less

1:48.8

serious than than honoring all those who have given us the opportunity to have the freedoms that we do.

1:55.3

Big part of typically Memorial Day for a lot of people is grilling out. We start to celebrate the

2:01.3

start of summer. And we're at an incredible inflection point here. By which I mean, I don't know that

2:09.9

we have ever seen people out there who are on the right, who are conservatives, who are independent,

2:16.0

who are reasonable rising up against brands. And I don't know how many of you have seen these,
