You may have heard the news today about the ACC making an arrangement with Florida State and Clemson.

You may remember those are the two malcontents who have been trying to get out, stomping their feet, doing everything imaginable that you would never expect a normal good member of a conference to do.

Andrea Adelson has been covering it for ESPN. Andrea, great to see you. So take it from the top. What happened today?

Yeah, Paul, essentially Florida State and Clemson got what they wanted from the ACC.

There was a settlement reached and that is going to have two key provisions in there.

One, a change in their revenue distribution that will reward teams for high viewership on television.

And gee, who are the two highest rated teams in the

ACC or or among the two highest rated teams Clemson and Florida State so that's

part one and part two is probably the bigger one and that's a reduction in the

exit fee for any school that wants to leave the conference next year that would

have been about a hundred and sixty165 million plus whatever your media
