you ever saw last night all four of them were frustrating these guys striking out

unbelievable every other time they're striking out yeah uh it was i was just

you listen the george steinbrunner yankees that was a whole different thing uh and then you had

incredible managers joe tory and all those guys you had amazing players uh this time around

hey why are they blaming Brian Cashman?

Why do we hear calls to fire Brian Cashman?

You know, I don't know.

You know, he's the guy to put the players on the field, I suppose.

Maybe just a different attitude in the front office.

When they were winning all these World Series,

wasn't he also the guy putting them on the field?

Oh, yeah. I think he's been there for 20 years. Yeah. So when you were winning and all the great glory days,

he was the guy. So what changed? Well, there's no more George Steinbrenner. It's now Hal He wasn't what changed. And Hal Steinbrenner is a great guy, but, you know, most of his life, he was doing other stuff.

He wasn't a baseball guy like this.

One thing about Steinbrenner, which nobody ever really focused on, he was the only owner in baseball who didn't do anything else for a living.

In the early days, he had a shipbuilding company company but he got rid of that pretty early into his uh ownership of the yankees and then

he just did baseball all day you got to remember every team owner does something else for a living
