When he started his first year at Crozer Theological Seminary in 1948, King initially received a C plus in the class, and then it went down

to a C. But much like Jordan after him, the setback proved to be motivation in its highest

form. When King graduated from Crozier, he had not only become valedictorian of his class,

ready for this, he had been elected student body president.

Safe to say that public speaking was no longer an issue.
