It's a beautiful sunny day.

It's not as warm as yesterday, but eight days until spring, a week from tomorrow.

It is spring 2019.

We've got lots to get to this hour.

We'll get to that crazy stupid Hudson Yards.

We'll get to Mayor de Blasio flapping and more coming up. The 2020

election, what's going to be the issue for Democrats? You know, it's very hard to get rid of an

incumbent president. Doesn't happen very often. Think back now. Even mediocre nothing presidents. You know you know Obama not much of a track record

economy stalled got reelected Bush with a war that was unpopular all that George W. Bush got

himself reelected it's very tough to be a one-term president. That very rarely happens.

It only happens in the case of Jimmy Carter.

He was such a disaster.

And Bush, Sr., the economy was not good.

But also remember, it doesn't just happen, no matter how badly you're doing,

they still don't throw you out.

Look at Obama.

What it takes is an extraordinary candidate has to come along.

So in the case of Jimmy Carter, things weren't going well, and an amazing candidate came along.

Ronald Reagan, maybe the most skilled presidential candidate people had seen in

their lifetime. So it took that to beat Jimmy Carter and make him a one-term president.

And the case of George H.W. Bush economy was bad, but he probably would have been reelected,
