I just need to make sure everyone's on the same page here, you guys.

We have never been closer to the return of the Sonics.

And I don't mean the way that Bump and I and Curtis have made fun of this entire process before over the years,

where, God, earlier this year and late last year even, we had jokes about,

oh, the NBA is going to explore creating a committee to explore talking about expansion,

to explore when they should actually get to expanding the league. Like, we've joked about it and I get it, right? It's been a carrot

dangled in front of Seattle for 15 years. But this is real. Breaking news this morning. The

NBA Board of Governors has voted in favor to explore expansion to Vegas and Seattle.

That means that officially ownership groups, potential owners, can start bidding on those teams.

So we're going to talk about what that price point is, what it means for when a team could come here, when a team could start playing, what the steps in this process

look like, right? Okay, what goes on for the next couple months? Then what happens? Then what

happens? Then when is there actually going to be a team here playing on a real court in a real game?

We're going to talk about all of it right now. But Bump, this news this morning was fully expected.

Yeah.

But did the news itself make it feel more real?

I kind of just wait and wait and wait for stuff to be, I guess, concrete.
