All right, welcome to the editor of State of the Union coverage, Janky Grant,

experiment with you guys.

So the speech starts in about 25 minutes, so we're going to tell you the things that he's going to talk about.

In the lead up to it, then we will do play by play as a speech happens, and then obviously we'll

do commentary analysis afterwards. And we will read your comments throughout to get you guys

involved in the conversation. So let me start with what the main objective for Joe Biden is in

this speech. So he's now seen the numbers that we talked about at the beginning of the

young turk show now, about two and a half hours ago, which was the Washington Post poll that came

out saying, the great majority of the country does not want him to run.

If it's about 80% that doesn't want him to run.

Right there, boom, on that factor alone, that's devastating, okay? But even within the Democratic

party, the great majority do not want him to run. Only 37% want him to run, 63% say don't run.

So that is devastation number two for Joe Biden. But remember, so they were aware of that,

and that Washington Post is within their bubble. So they're going to be worried about that,

they're going to want to address that. So he's going to make the best possible case for himself
