How many wins in a row do you think the Mariners will end up getting?

You predicted over 10, but where does it stop?

Because they just got eight in a row.

And they have a matinee series finale today with, I think, a very real chance to sweep the Mets who looked defensively just a mess yesterday.

I don't like speaking negatively about this team.

So I'm just going to say, they're going to be at the Seahawks. They're not going to lose the rest of the year. That's exactly right. No, it's been fun, though, man. It's been fun watching this team turn that corner. The blinker was on for a little bit. They finally made the term. And now they're rolling. We're getting contributions from everybody. So when do I think it's going to stop? I don't want to say when it's going to stop. I'm just going to live in the moment and say they're going to get it done again today. I can absolutely respect it. The turnaround, it feels like, is real and is happening. Let's go to cut number seven. This is Aaron Goldsmith on the call talking about

what feels like a real turnaround. This is a very mariner thing, and it doesn't matter who's in the dugout,

who's wearing the uniform. The Mariners have had some really talented teams in recent time, as we all

know, and they've really had to earn it. They've dug themselves in some holes year after year after year.

And oftentimes you don't see the turnaround coming.

You hope that it will happen and you believe that it should based on the talent in the room,

but you don't know when it's going to happen.

And oftentimes it kind of comes out of nowhere.

What if this is it? Because I, frankly, it's going to happen. And oftentimes it kind of comes out of nowhere.

What if this is it? Because I, frankly, thought the turnaround would happen after they took two or three from the Braves and then hit the road. Like the last two road trips had some, quote, easier opponents where I thought, man, this is the chance to build a momentum and turn this thing around.

And, you know, Cal's going to start getting hot. And, you know, everything's going to start clicking. And then Cal lands on the IL and you're thinking like, oh, man, there goes Brandon Donovan, too. What's this team going to do? And suddenly, they're the hottest team in baseball. No other team has this many wins in a row right now. No, it's, this is the shift we've been waiting for, right? We felt like we had to be patient.

You and I have to react every single day.

So I guess at times it could sound like we're not being patient.

We're just reacting to what we're seeing.
