in the morning. I usually need a little warm-up time before you arrive. When Charles is running the

board, I got to be a part of the show. Yep. So a little birdie told me Charles is going to be working the board Friday and well, lo and behold, I'm here. Well, good. It's good job. At least for a little while. Man, there's a ton today. It's going to be a busy day. Lots to react to from Mike McDonald yesterday. It was great to get to talk to him. Mariners head out on their big road trip, 10 game road trip. A lot of opportunity in front of them. G's going to come in. You see G's kids signed with the Jets? No, did he? Yeah. The Jets signed G. Scott Jr. How about that? And didn't say practice squad. It just said, we've signed G. Scott Jr. So I thought that was kind of awesome news. And we'll talk to G. About that and about Russ. That's usually a fun conversation. And Stacy's going to come by later and open phones. I mean, like, there's just a ton of things. With all that being said, I watched two fascinating things on TV yesterday, sports-wise. One was the end of the hockey game, and I have that need to know, and we can kind of talk through it. I don't know if you got to see. I did not. Oh, man, what a great hockey game. Another overtime game, right? Yeah, and just super fun to watch. I mean, just awesome, desperate hockey, which just makes it so fun to watch. And Sean McDonough makes everything better. So I'll at least make sure we get the Sean McDonough call of the game winner, which was superb. Pretty good odds that Sean McDonough is going to narrate your three and a half minute retirement. Well, more likely than me doing it myself. I'll tell you that much. Yeah, I wouldn't, I wouldn't mind. I mean, he's so good, man. He's so opinionated. It's so great. But in a, kind of in a likable way. Oh, yeah. Well, but he's not in a cut down. I mean, he can have strong opinions, but. Yeah, he was pretty strong last night. So John Tortorello, who we've talked a lot about with the Vegas Golden Knights, he challenged a call late. And Torts, by the way, is like, yeah, I would do it 10 out of 10 times afterwards. And right away, Sean is like, I don't know know about that like that's not a good call like the the

risk there of a penalty afterwards is a huge problem and sure enough it ended up burning him with a goal and

I talked to somebody afterwards who who would know and was like yeah it's a terrible challenge and it's

sort of like you take the good and the bad with torts, right? Like he's so emotional and that gets the team going. But also, like, he's so emotional. It's a little Pete Carroll element to that where sort of that old Pete hormonal thing. The other thing I happened to notice yesterday, I don't know that you've seen this at all. I didn't put it in my email, sorry, but did you see Scottish Sheffler's meltdown yesterday?
