We hear a lot of time. We hear a lot of time. The Palestinians and Israelis negotiated.

Hi, friends. Welcome to In the Market with Janet Partial. I am so glad we start each and every broadcast with that audio representation of the marketplace of ideas, the cacophony of things that are being bought and sold, things being marketed as truth, but in fact, they're really nothing more than a lie. And we rightfully learn to discern, and I often quote Dwight El Moodie is talking about laying down the straight stick of truth. You have to have a metric. You have to have a plum line. How else are you going to measure a truth from a falsehood? And we do talk about that on a regular basis so that we can learn to discern. We can be like the Bereans and test all things. But, you know, there's a far more sophisticated kind of lying that's going on, not just the stuff that's being bought and sold in the cultural marketplace.

But what about those insidious lies that work their way into our lives coming directly from

the Father of Lives himself? And the lies that really keep us from enjoying what Jesus promised us,

that abundant life,

that sense of joy that we can't keep in ourselves, that sense of knowing whose we are,

that overwhelming sense of peace, not as the world gives, but that peace that passes understanding.
