schmelt is that this team just is a losing team and i don't mean that in a negative light like

you're a loser but technically that's what you that's what you do when you win 20 games in four years

and nine of them came in the first year,

it tells you that something is not clicking, something is not right.

And ultimately, when you evaluate the talent on this team,

the way that they were losing games after having leads,

it felt like there was no path forward with this regime.
