There are a number of different things that I'd like to get to that I find interesting about basketball as we approach the most exciting time, but a really

weird season, weird for a couple of different reasons. The average margin of victory was 13.5

points. So some of that math distortion that has come to baseball, the three-pointer has distorted

things and also the distortion of you've got 20 teams that are good and 10 that don't care about

being good or whatever it is. And you end up in a situation where they're expanding and also

one of the bad teams had Janus on it. One of the bad teams just

fired. I haven't seen this before. Maybe you have. Guy gets inducted into the Hall of Fame then

gets fired like weeks later. Like that has that happened a lot? You guys got a lot of memories of

guy gets into Hall of Fame and then two weeks later the buck say I, uh, Doc Rivers is about to make, uh, he was about to make more than $10 million. So he's going to make more than $10 million next year to not coach for the Milwaukee Bucks, right? His is an eight-figure salary, not a seven-figure salary? I mean, look, I'm with you on him being fired. It's going to wind up being called. He stepped away. You know, I think he was very clearly going to get fired. But you're right about the Hall of Fame part. Like, he was just named the Hall of Fame inductee for this year. It was a couple weeks ago. I just, I don't get the Doc Rivers thing. I really don't. Like, even if you don't count Milwaukee, who would have fired him, it's been fired three other times in his career.

He was about to be fired in Boston, too, before that Kevin Garnett trade.

And the thing that gets me the most is ever since Boston.

So we're talking about Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and even Boston before they hired Kevin Garnett, every fan base of the teams that he coached couldn't wait for their team to get rid of him. I don't understand how he's a whole thing coach. I don't think Orlando. I don't think that's accurate for Orlando. No, not Orlando. But when you say, so he's 97 and 103 in Milwaukee.

And look, I want to talk some about the Masters, but just let and LeBron's first round is super interesting as well,

just because I can't believe the oldest player in the league is going into a playoff series

where he's got a home court advantage, and it's all required of him again like because the other the younger guys broke down like so now looking at jared

vanderbilt like buddy i need help but it's crazy he's looking at luke canard he's like really so it's

okay all right here you're here huh all right here we go uh but but doc let i want to examine for a second what has happened with Doc Rivers when a basketball expert says to you,

I don't get it, and he's going in the Hall of Fame.

So there's a gulf there.
