There's a service today at memorial for John's friends and family

that Michael and Susan Waldman are going to be hosting. So that obviously is happening during

the show today, which is why Michael's off, but he will pop in and talk Subway Series with the

guys in the afternoon at 4 p.m. today. Jake Asman, that's me, sitting in for Michael today. We've

got a lot to talk about. Obviously,

the Subway Series is tonight, and despite the fact that the Yankees have been scuffling and the Mets actually have been playing, if you just look over the last 10, better than the Yankees even have. If you think about it, there's probably not as much juice as there should be for a typical Subway Series, but I'll tell you what, if you go on the secondary market and look at tickets,

it's not like they're giving these the way. It is still expensive to go to City Field for any of these three games, and the weather's supposed to be very nice, especially on Saturday. That's tomorrow night, a night game, and then they play during the day on Sunday. So fans are still interested in the subway series.

I'm going tonight.

I'll be reping the Yankees in Queens, probably wearing Nick's hat, because that's the one thing the Yankee and the Met fan could come together on.
