Let's say you got a dollar in your pocket.

Someone comes up to you and says, hey, not looking for a handout, but man, I could really

use 99 cent burrito from Taco Bell.

I haven't eaten in three days. Are you tempted to give him that dollar?

Do you give him that dollar? Probably even if you don't do it. Probably thinking about it.

Okay, that's good. That same person says, hey, I not only need a dollar, man, I could really use a ride.

I'm 10 miles away.
