On a Wednesday, and I should probably get this off my chest right off the bat.

Right off the bat, and my soul just rip it like a bandaid.

This is probably going to be my last show ever.

I know what you're saying right now, Jesse.

How am I supposed to live without the show gun?

And I know what you're thinking.

Jesse, it seemed like you were enjoying yourself, and I was, right?

I was, but every now and then, you have to follow your heart.

You have to follow your heart.

And so when I saw this headline in the New York Post today that said,

Red Lobster CEO resigns after just eight months on the job, I knew.

I knew I had a different calling.

So, it's been a pleasure.

I'm just kidding, I'm not leaving for Red Lobster.

But we do have a great show for you tonight.

Kind of on the heavier end will be Selena Zito.

Selena Zito wrote an article about how rural America, different parts of America,

parts we don't always see how they're really, really in a drug crisis.

We're going to talk about that.
