You remember this happened years ago.

Menendez suspected of bribery, and it looked pretty much like bribery, taking expensive vacations and trips and private jet trips from this donor and he fought the case tooth and nail lots of lawyering going on

and he somehow beat it but this is nine years later and it just happened moments ago senator

bob menendez and his wife both indicted on bribery charges in connection

with a corrupt relationship with three New Jersey businessmen. This is from the U.S.

attorney here in Manhattan, Southern District. That's the best U.S. Attorney's Office of

all. So they've not only indicted him, they've indicted a couple of,

actually, I think three of these supposed bribers, these alleged bribers. It's the second set

of corruption charges leveled against Menendez by the Justice Department. Last time around

he fought off conspiracy, bribery, and honest services fraud.
