It's opening day.

It's like a national holiday.

Now, I know the sports started about a week ago in Japan between the Dodgers and the Cubs, but this is opening day.

So I'm coming to you live from Yankee Stadium, where today the Yankees are going to take on the Milwaukee Brewers.

In Houston, the Mets will start their much-anticipated season with a series against the

Astros.

So the Yankee game starts at three.

The Mets game starts at four.

You'll hear the Mets game right here on 880 ESPN.

So we have a lot to do.

Now, why is opening day so special? And I think the best thing

that I could tell you is that Hope Springs Eternal. I know that sounds corny, but it's true.

If you look at the 30 teams in baseball, I think most of them, definitely not the Rockies, but most of them could make some sort of

case that they could make the playoffs. They could. Now, I should also have the White Sox, too.

So 28 out of the 30 teams could sell hope because that's what for sale here on opening day. You're selling hope.
