I mean, does a couple of great podcasts around here for Metal Arc Media, Levertar, and Friends

One of them is Sina Fob, and he does that with Zach Harper and Anthony Mays, and one is

basketball alumni.

He does this with Tom Havrstrom's Creative in a space where a lot of people are talking

about some of the same things in basketball they are not.

And one of the things that Tom has been doing for a long time now is covering the officiating

because it's like a fascinating, dirty underworld that, like if everyone's competing for victory

in the margins, the refereeing kind of is important.

If all the games are close and these guys are competing in 50 point games, you can't have

the disaster that you had last night where the competence of the players seems to be greater

than the competence of the people officiating the players.

Also though I mean, seems like an impossible game to officiate, seems wholly impossible.

Everyone's gotten too athletic.

How do I stop him from scoring without fouling it?

So Tom Havrstrom, the latest thing that's happened here, because I mean, you tell

me, have you seen in your career a lot of what's playing out publicly right now where

the players are complaining this loudly about the credibility of their officiated product?

Yeah, I tried to remain kind of present and not get caught up in now for two reasons.

One is obviously the reasons you buy.
