Today's crew, kind of a skeleton crew back there, but hey, we're all pulling our weight to try to get through before we get the three-day weekend into July 4. Rob, here we go. Day four of our little journey together. It's been a really fun week. How are we feeling today, pal? Good, buddy. Good, good, good, good, good, good. It's Friday, it's not Friday, but it's of friday and uh nothing better tomorrow me let me ask you how this works out for you got a group of people getting together for a barbecue because it's the fourth of july the ladies of our little friend group got a text chain going where they're like okay i'm going to bring the brownies and i'm going to bring the burgers and i'm going to bring the buns i'm going to bring this and then the dudes got the text chat. And the first guy dropped, I'm going to bring a $200 worth of fireworks to blow up. And then the next guy went, I'm also going to do that. And then I said, yeah, me too, why not? We went from the ladies all bringing the food and the drinks to like seven dudes bringing $1,400 worth of fireworks to blow up tomorrow. Is that irresponsible or just like obligatory American?

Because I got to tell you, I feel really patriotic about that.

Yeah, you should.

It's America.

But if I do read a story, you know, sometime around tomorrow evening,

that there's been some kind of issue with you know noise ordinance

fireworks issues you know in down there in greenville south carolina i'll know uh who is to

blame who is the culprit for it no it should be a really fun holiday obviously for those of us

with dogs it can be an issue at times um i actually don't have plans tomorrow night i plans there in a day

not tomorrow night because i tend to leave the evening time open because my dog is very sensitive

to the fireworks that go off um and i'm going to be a good dog dad and and spend the evening with

him but i'll be celebrating during the day for sure. We have a great group of guests coming

on today, two guests in particular that I'm really excited about. Bill Bender's going to join us

at 5 o'clock Eastern. We're going to talk a little college football. He does a really good work,

senior writer for sporting news covering the great sport of college football. We'll talk to him

in a couple hours. Then during our NBC sports

now power hour, 620 Eastern time, Nick Fidel. It's not a Fidel Friday. It's a Ferdell Thursday.

He is the Odyssey NBA insider. We'll get some updates for him, not only on the Nick's

coaching search, which finally mercifully came to an end yesterday, but also all things NBA for agency.

But we start today, Rob, in Major League Baseball.
