| 0:00.0 | Oh, my my, it is the Gassy Kelly Show! Let's have some fun! And we are going to have a blast tonight. You know why? |
| 0:20.3 | It's the big stories. The kind of snoozers tonight. And I should hate days like this, but they're my favorites. |
| 0:30.3 | Because that means we're going to be all over the map. But I'm going to begin at the beginning here, |
| 0:37.8 | because I have something I want to tell you. Of course, they caught the Brooklyn subway shooter, |
| 0:43.9 | Frank James is in custody, in case you don't know he's in custody. And I was thinking about this. I was thinking about why this stuff happens. |
| 0:53.9 | I'm talking about the violent black nationalist hurting people. In case you don't know, that's four within the last year. Why? |
| 1:05.6 | I'll tell you what, pause on that for a minute. Pause on that. We're going to come back to that. |
| 1:10.3 | If I told you I've been having nightmares lately, just stay with me. Stay with me. I generally don't remember my dreams. |
| 1:20.8 | Every now and then I will, but I generally don't. And I am not somebody who's prone to nightmares. |
| 1:28.0 | It's just not, I'm in a bad, I'm not going wrong, just like you've had, but I'm not somebody who's prone to them. |
| 1:32.2 | But I've had more and more lately. And I was talking to the wife about this. And she was thinking about it. |
| 1:41.4 | And she looked, and as I was telling her, I wasn't complaining, she was just saying, man, I've had some bad dreams. |
| 1:46.2 | I don't know what's going on. And she looks down at the book I'm reading. And she says, well, what's that book about? |
| 1:55.1 | And I looked and it was a book I'm reading. I'm not going to go into the details of about horrible communist atrocities throughout history and people they've tortured and murdered. |
| 2:05.4 | And I said, okay, yeah, okay, that's a decent point. And she said, what's you love documentaries? |
| 2:11.9 | What's the last documentary you watched? I said, okay, last documentary I actually watched. |
| 2:18.4 | And with me, I'm going somewhere with this. Last documentary I actually watched was of a alcoholic drug addicted Vietnam tunnel rat who said he was assured that he was going to hell because of the 36 people he murdered. |
| 2:36.2 | And I could see where she was going with this and I, and I said to myself, you know, that's a good point. |
| 2:43.9 | We are, but we are a product of the things we consume. You know that old saying you are what you eat? I mean, it's, I don't know about that, but we most definitely are a product of the things we consume and the things we consume affect us. |
| 3:04.2 | They affect us. They do. We don't always want that to be true, but it is true. I sometimes, you know, I geek out on history so I can wade into the darker parts of it, especially because I'm basically obsessed with opposing communism and communism's history is so dark. |
| 3:26.6 | And I can find myself consuming reading, watching lots of stories about death and darkness and ugly things and genocide. And soon. |
| 3:39.9 | It's affecting my mood soon. I have nightmares all of a sudden. I don't ever have nightmares. Now what am I talking about? |
