Wendy's not my best friend. All right, let's get right into it because we have breaking news this morning. The Kauai Leonard Arrow with the Clippers could be coming to a close with the team in serious discussions to trade the star to his former team. The Raptors, according to Shams Sharania, Kauai has only one season left on his current contract. So, Wendy, I want to bring it to you first. Where would you like to see him go? Obviously, the Raptors are at top of the conversation, but is that the right place for Kawhi Leonard to be back there in Toronto? Well, I know that's where he wants to go, and I will not look inside his head, but I have a guess as to why he wants to go there.

And that's because the Raptor is there a place that will extend his contract. He's in the last year of a deal of $50 million. And, guys, he's coming off two awesome seasons. If you go back and look, when he came back from his last knee injury, he's played 103 games over the last year and a half. He's averaged 25 points, shot 50% from the field, 40% from three-point range.

he was mostly healthy. And this is a player that has value, and he wants to be paid for it.

And the aspiration investigation, of course, you're going to ask, well, what's going on with that? Amina, nobody seems to know. 26 days ago, Adam Silver said it's time to wrap it up. The Clippers can't wait any longer. And so they're making a decision here, I think, to move on from Kauai Leonard. Doesn't mean that they'll agree. I think they're going to have some serious demands from the Raptors. But part of what's happening here is by Kauai saying, I will sign with the

Raptors and the Raptors only. It forces the exclusive negotiation, but it also may force the

Raptors to pony up with another piece or two because they know it won't be a rental. The last time they got Kawhi Leonard, he was with the opposite. He said, I will not sign there. Absolutely not. And they got him for a steal. This time he's saying, I will sign there. And the clippers are going to want a premium. So we'll see if it gets worked out. Yeah, this from the move, as Wendy explained, is from the Kauai standpoint. I'm going to take it from the Toronto Raptor standpoint. This, to me, is the first move of the offseason that can really shake up the NBA and really redetermine who is at the top of the East right now. If the Toronto Raptors get Kauai Leonard, you're looking at probably the second best team in the Eastern Conference because he fits so perfectly
