2021. The Mets getting swept by the A's who don't even have a city, really, that they're playing

in currently. This was as bad as it gets. And with the Mets and Yankees, I feel a little bit differently about both teams because we know who the Yankees are, for the most part, as they basically ran it back. There's a lot of guys on the Mets. I have no idea what they're going to project to the rest of the year. And it's a little bit scary what's going on. And if I'm Carlos Mendoza, I'm thinking, we better turn this thing around quick because I've got a massive collapse on my hands from last year. And we're starting out playing like crap this year. Not good for him. Knicks and Hawks are the first round. That'll be on Saturday.

Rory wins back-to-back Masters. We got hockey as well. Not great for Islander fans. Good morning. Boomer. How are you? Yeah, good morning, Jim, doing well. And I got to tell you, I leave for five days, and I come back and both baseball teams stink. Yep. and can't get out of their own way, especially the Mets.

1:29.8

The Mets are a disaster.

1:31.2

They look terrible.

2:04.4

They look terrible. They look lifeless. Their body language is horrendous. I was able to watch a number of games up in Canada when I was up there. Yeah. And it was just, you just wanted to turn TV off. I mean, absolutely no offensive punch at all whatsoever. You know, the race come to New York and they win four out of five games between the Yankees and the Mets. And you take a look at where the A's payroll is. You take a look at where the Mets of the Yankees payroll is. You take a look at where Tampa's payroll is compared to the Yankees. I mean, it just goes to show you. Doesn't know how much money you spend, you know, you still got to play the game.

2:09.3

And both teams, basically embarrassingly, are now in the midst of five game losing streaks.

2:10.2

I mean, it's just awful.

3:08.9

I mean, as a Met fan, so I did a friend, did a favor for a friend last night. Okay. And it was a birthday party that a friend of mine, David Moore, threw for himself, essentially. Okay. And it was great. It was great. About 200 people, 250 people showed up. It was great paint played last night. Wow. My goodness. And I was in a sketch comedy with S&L actors. Get out of here. Yeah, I mean, you know, it was ridiculous. It was hilarious. Was it like an old school SNL act? Like, like Chevy Chase come out? No, guy, people that are on. Covering us. Yes, of course. Yeah, man, Alex Poppet was in there. You know, Araccio Sands was in there. I mean, it was unbelievable. So it was a great, it was a great time. And we were just, the sketch was about, like, favorite New York athletes. And they all happen to be Jewish because David's Jewish. Okay. You know, instead of the, the bears, it was the Jews, that kind of thing. It was very, very funny. Yeah, very, very funny thing.

3:13.7

But I have to tell you, most of the people that I was running into last night,

3:16.1

you would think maybe they would talk about Rory and the Masters.

3:21.0

All people could talk about is just how horrendous New York sports is.

3:24.0

And at least the Knicks are going to the playoffs, and at least the Nix
