and then they do the stupid construction hat and vest thing.

The Mets are back.

No, they're not.

As the game gets tied,

Nolan McLean gives up three runs. Devin Williams is horrible. They go down 14 straight. And here we are.

And I know every single day, somebody says it's a long way to go. But the trajectory they are on now is the same as the 1992 Mets, the worst team that money could buy.

The 2002 Mets, it also went and got Mo Vaughn and spent a ton of money, both missing the playoffs,

both being significant games under 500 and the laughing stock of baseball.
