Dennis Miller, how you doing? Good morning, Mark. How goes it in Gotham?

Oh, it goes just fine, except for the traffic, the crowds, the, everything. Hey, you're doing a podcast.

Why is everybody doing a podcast now?

I don't know. I think it's the next frontier, to be honest. I didn't get it at first.

My friend Adam Carolla told me about a years ago, and now he stands astride the podcast world, like a latter-day colossus of roads, but I think people are, by and large, I know my kids listen to them. They say that

they want their content in a more succinct manner over the course of an hour, not laden with

commercials, and targeted more to a specific, either personality type or a sense of humor or sports,

or, you know what I mean? so I think it's an alacart

choice yeah now nobody is more qualified to do a podcast than you Dennis Miller the

brilliant articulate guy who's a professional talk show host for years you should be doing it

but you will admit every stupid comedian the world is suddenly trying it. And it doesn't work for them.

Well, I don't differentiate myself from being just another stupid comedian.

You know what I mean?

I'm honored to be in the group, my friend, because everybody's a stupid something around there.

So, yes, I'm in the stupid comedian.

No, no, no.

You are the gold standard.

But, you know, there's a lot of guys who may be an hour long podcast, not for them.

But everybody listening to that.

Yeah, but the interesting thing is, Mark, the interesting thing is that some people connect to other people.
