Oh, it's a big day in Washington today.

Everybody's getting money.

Everybody's getting, well, you're not.

Taxpayers aren't.

It's all taxpayers' money that they're giving away.

Some, they're all excited, because some is going to Volatimir Zelensky,

the man of the year, the president of Ukraine, who

is coming here for a special visit.

It's the first time he has ever left Ukraine since the war, and it's because we're giving

him billions of dollars.

But he's not the only one getting billions of dollars.

All of the representatives and senators are getting billions of dollars, too.

In a package they like to call the omnibus.

It's a bus that rolls over the taxpayers.

If you didn't know it, this is the most corrupt time of year in Congress.

It's a dead zone where dirty deals get done because nobody's really watching.

The month and a half, after an election and before the holidays, right before a new Congress is sworn in,

that's the time that senators and House representatives

pay off their big contributors with earmarks of money for pet projects and like changes

in the tax code or relaxed regulations. Any small legislation or change that may benefit their big money campaign donors.

And that brings us back to the omnibus package.

You should be frightened as a taxpayer every time you hear the word omnibus.
