I do think for a brief second, I morph into the hater that I am as somebody that wants to see.

I'm like one of the few guys in this town that want to see the Knicks lose.

But I do think that that's instructive for the first thing I do want to tell you.

As someone that is rooting against you, I was pissed on Saturday night, genuinely.

Like, I respect Victor Wambaynama and I respect Mitch Johnson and I respect

Dylan Harper. I respect everything that the San Antonio Spurs accomplished. But as a hater,

I still don't think a team with zero postseason experience, zero real failures in the playoffs.

That's not a team I see winning an NBA championship.

And so while they've accomplished a lot and I tip my hat to them and maybe I'm being

hardheaded because that was my view on the Spurs coming into the playoffs, as a Nick Hater,

and then I'm more fin of being an IBO.

I just wanted to present that to you because I think it matters.

I was disappointed that the Spurs won.

I think it's the best news the New York Knicks could have gotten.
