Mets had a great weekend, sweeping the Marlins. Yankees had a pretty good weekend, taking two out of three from the A's and a great road trip. They were five and one on a six-game road trip. They have a day off today. The Mets begin three-game series in Seattle.

Seems like the Mets have spent half of the first couple of months on the West Coast.

I give them credit, but they did climb out of last place by sweeping the Marlins dropping Miami into the last spot in the NL East.

But the story today at the beginning is we have an NBA finals matchup.

We've been waiting a while because we knew the Knicks were in from the Eastern Conference

finals and then the Spurs went into Oklahoma City and knocked off the defending NBA champions

to take the Western Conference Championship,

and it'll be like 1999 all over again,

because it'll be the Knicks against the Spurs for the NBA title.

And I keep saying it.

So this is the last time I guess I'll say it.

Of the two teams, this is the one I want it.

And now the Knicks will play the third straight opponent on their way to a title that had to go seven excruciating high-intensity games in order to get here.
