Got a stat of the day. All of that forthcoming. Some of the headlines here. Julio Jones and Tom Brady. Once opponents in a Super Bowl and Julio Jones signs a one year deal with the Buccaneers.

The other option was green Bay. And I think there are a lot of positives if you're Julio Jones to play for the Buccaneers. Joe burrow out with an appendectomy.

And I don't know what the timeframe will be for that. But Joe burrow will be out and you're not going to have that much contact anyways as far as playing in preseason games. Even in practice.

So I'm going to guess Joe burrow should be good to go when the season starts ever since the Niners traded up to draft trade Lance. The writings been on the wall for Jimmy Garoppolo.

Tray Lance is the future in San Francisco and the future is now and that became evident after Garoppolo was granted permission to seek a trade earlier this month.

If that wasn't enough Kyle Shanahan yesterday said that Lance is ready to take over the team. Here's Kyle Shanahan.

I think all three of us are very much on the same page. Jimmy understands where we're at. We understand where we're at. I can't tell you how appreciative I have been of Jimmy and him being here. And so appreciative what he did for us last year.

I think Jimmy and we knew what move we made the year before on that. Jimmy did a hell of a job coming to camp and winning that job and taking us real close to the Super Bowl. We have moved on a trade for starting camp out this way.

We think Jimmy would have been traded if the surgery didn't happen. And it did he needed to do it. So there's no ill will there at all. But it's good to see that he is healthy. But now it's all just seeing how this will end up.

The Niners have a Super Bowl caliber roster. They're over under according to draft Kings is 10 wins. This team has consistently stated contender with Garoppolo at the helm.

Lance looked overwhelmed and limited action last year. But obviously there's room for growth. There is only 22. He has the physical abilities. The scouts love this. That's why the Niners traded up to get him.
