because we did have a very fun free agency weekend. And we start with Dame Dalla. After the first

11 seasons of his career in Portland, Damien Lillard has requested a trade. His preference is to take

his talents to South Beach. His source told Anne Skates, Mark J. Spears. He also has, quote,

deep respect for the San Antonio Spurs, Erguna's organization. Source is told,

Proudona Shelburn. Here is Adrian Wojdernaowski with the latest out of Portland.

They are open for business everywhere in the league on him. Now, our Mark Spears

reports that Damien Lillard wants to play for the Miami Heat that he has told the Blazers that.

But he does not have a no trade clause in the way that Bradley Beal did. He does not get the

control where he goes next. And for Portland, listen, they're going to go out into the marketplace

and try to find the best deal they can. It's a combination of young players, draft picks,

salary cap relief, all the things you want when a star of Damien Lillard's magnitude

has to be traded. I think this will not be a quick process. Miami does not have any advantage

in trying to get a trade for Damien Lillard just because he's asking to go there.

this one. What is the market for Lillard? Well, the realistic market, Christine, is not that deep.

And the reason is because he is a 33 year old player with 200 million left on his contract.
