I don't know if reminiscing is the right word considering Jerry went to the NBA finals nine times in his 14 years.

He lost 8 of the 9 the first 6 of those 8 were to Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics.

But we'll talk to Jerry as he looks back on the impact that Bill Russell had in the NBA both on and off the court.

Actually you can go back to high school where a one state titles you can go back to college where you won two NCAA titles.

Then you can go to the NBA and he is considered the greatest winner of all time.

But I think the best thing to do about the Russell I did not get to see him play in person.

I was aware of Bill Russell obviously got to watch him usually on Sunday on TV.

But it was really rare that you got to see highlights you got to see an actual game.

And Bill Russell had retired right when I got to the sweet spot of going to NBA games.

I was able to go to the Cincinnati Royals games and that started in 1970 and Bill had retired.

He was also a player coach.
