Thrilled, we're going to spend the hour together, time to put on your thinking cap cap because we as followers of Christ know that we have to think critically and biblically. By the way, that's not a multiple choice test. It's not an either or it is a both-and. I give you, as an example, artificial intelligence. Yeah, it's everywhere. Okay, true feelings. Okay, first of all, I am so tired that when I go to a particular search engine, the first

thing that comes up at the top of the page is AI's answer.

And I thought to myself, are you trying to make me stupid?

First of all, when Reagan was talking about the Soviet Union during the Cold War, he said, trust, but verify.

I take that philosophy in life to a lot of areas, including AI.

Thanks, but no thanks.

I don't care who you are.

Some programmer in California has put this information in here, and I don't know that it's necessarily true.

You know, I live in a town where we went through this whole iteration of malformation, disinformation, and all these, in fact, we had a czar. We had a czar for like five minutes of misinformation. It was going to fact-check the world. The presupposition, of course, in all of that is that someone is an arbiter of truth. If they're not, then it's just a way of silencing an opinion you disagree with.

Or, in AI's case, it's a way of making you stupid because they're going to do your homework.
