Just a slightly brighter way to start the show on a beautiful Friday. Again, less than a week away from the draft. John Schneider was on Wyman and Bob, the John Schneider show, to explain how the Seahawks ranked their draft board.

I love Bob's question. It was a great question from Bob. He goes like, hey, we all talk about like getting the absolute best player available. You've said it over and over, like great philosophy, but like, what if you're at 32 and the single highest player on your board is like a tight end like what are you going to do i thought he phrased it in a great way here's what john said

it usually ends up being a combination of the two really and that's how we grade for our team we don't grade for the national football league so we just say okay this is our best player for our team and so that's kind of that's where that's where that comes into the fold. Now, are there times

where, yeah, you're just, we can't pass up a player that has, you know, we, we think it's going to get drafted higher and here he comes and we got to take him, you know, I mean, see, you just, you're just taking the best player. And that's what, that comes in. But as we build this thing, We're always building it for our team.
