you know what i've learned about credit cards um interest rates are crazy yeah interest Yeah, interest rates are crazy. This is relevant, I promise. But it's that when you get, I remember I got my first credit card. This is going to be a bad story. It ended up being fine. But I got my first credit card in my 20s. And I remember thinking, I'm rich. This is the most money I've ever had in my life. I can buy anything.

And this is why they caution you against that. But, you know, I'm 24 or 5 years old at the time.

And I'm just thinking I can buy everything I want.

It feels great when you don't have to pay a bill is what I'm saying.

It does.

And it felt great this year to watch JSN go for nearly 1,800 yards, have amazing catches, amazing

touchdowns week in and week out.

He is the player that you know the other team has to stop, and then it's great because

every Sunday they can't, and it becomes this amazing story. He's offensive player of the year. Incredibly likable, adored by fans.

That's what spending that credit card is before the bill. And now, uh-oh, you just got that statement

and you're going, but what do you mean I owe? This is my money. What are you talking about? That bill

is due on your Super Bowl champion because you were getting an MVP caliber, offensive player of the year caliber, top tier receiver in the league caliber performance on a nice little discount, nice little rookie deal. And now he wants to be paid. So what we're going to talk about for the first 30 minutes of the show is not just what that looks like and kind of the latest with that, but what it means for building a Super Bowl contender and kind of talk about some of the feelings people have about it, Bump. This is one of your better analogies, by the way. Really? Yeah, it's one of your better ones. I did eventually, you know, you pay back the credit card, but it hurts. You feel like you lost money. Hey, stop. You've already, you've already been good with the analogy. Now you're doing too much. Even though you're wearing the things that you got with it, you're like, but I already paid.

Why are they charging me twice? I don't understand. I don't understand. Before I get to Jason, you reminded me of my homie, my best friend, my brother, Elmer, right? Love Elmer. He's a year older than me. He turned 18 before me. You know, they start sending you pre-approved credit cards, right? Predatory. getting right so then i remember one

i remember one summer, we used to go out and he used to be like, I got it. I got it. I'm like, where are you getting all this money from the door, but I got it? And he had three pre-approved credit cards, jacked his stuff up. He's back now. He's fine.

Yeah.

But yeah, you just reminded me of that.

It's a tough lesson learned.
