I've been gone two weeks.

I think this was the longest I was ever gone.

So I didn't know what the hell was going on.

I forgot everything.

Even like I'm going to sleep last night.

Oh, I forgot. You got to set an alarm clock. I haven't done that in two weeks.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, we got lots to get to. We'll get to President Trump. We'll get to the fake impeachment.

We'll get to Don Imus. We'll get to the city. And what's going on here at the decline of the city? We'll get to lots of stuff. This is my favorite day of the year. This is the

greatest day in New York. January 2nd should be a holiday. It's just wonderful to go out today.

All the tourists are gone. Oh, my God. If you live in Midtown Manhattan or if you work in

Midtown Manhattan or you walk around Midtown Manhattan, it's been a nightmare. Most of Manhattan, not just the traffic. The sidewalks gridlocked with slow-moving tourists all over the place. So they're all gone. January 2nd. Once again, the city is empty. Tourists gone. Any store, everything 90% off. I mean,

you think they had sales at Christmas? Where do you see it now? So this is a great day. It's now a new

decade, not just a new year, but a new decade. That's always a big thing. And once again,

it's the Roaring 20s. Remember the Great Gatsby and the Roaring 20s and Elliot Ness and Prohibition and all that?

Well, it's 100 years later now.

It's 2020, the beginning of the Roaring 20s.

Great Gatsby was actually all that stuff in there was, I think, 1922.

So you're just two years away from that.
