Speaking of great, has there ever been a time like this?

Certainly not in my time in Seattle.

I can't come up with a moment where the Seahawks are coming off a win and the Mariners

are coming off of nine of them to put them into first place in September.

Anybody else remember that?

I can't.

I mean, maybe if you go back a little longer than I do, I only go back in Seattle to 2009.

And that sure is heck hasn't happened in 2009 because the Mariners haven't been in

first place in September, let alone coming off of Seahawks win, let alone the nine

straight.

About as good a Monday morning in the city of Seattle sportswise as you could possibly hope

for.
