Joe Bartlett, have you been watching this January 6th footage?

Yeah, I've seen it.

And what do you, I mean, the argument is, well, he's cherry picking it, you know.

And that's the job of the January 6th committee to do the cherry picking, but they've already cherry picked it their way.

What do you feel?

You're a very fair guy.

You don't think it's distorting anything, do you?

Well, you know, I think you have to look at both sides of the video together to get a true sense of what happened because it wasn't as

peaceful as, you know, Tucker Carlson is trying to show. There was some violence. And I do not

agree that they were tourists or sightseers. You know, they broke in and, you know, look, it wasn't an attempt to overthrow the government.

It was just guys very upset with the election.

It got carried away.

Yeah.

I think the point, when this is all done, when they show all this footage, I think everybody will come to realize.

There were about 400,000 protesters there, and they were pretty much peaceful.

The violent ones, the rioting ones, the bad ones, probably 45, 50 people out of the 400, 500,000.

So that's what you'll come to.

You know, they show the walrus hat guy, the shaman walking down the hall, being escorted by the cops, acting as tour guides.

So the cops have had to respond to this, the Capitol Hill police. And their response is

they were trying to de-escalate, they were trying to control the situation. They didn't want
