Summary
Public trust can be lost when it gets taken advantage of. When you violate public trust over and over again, eventually the public will stop trusting you. Why don’t Americans trust the government? The government has violated the public's trust too many times. The federal government, the media, FEMA has lost any and all ability to tell you what to believe after they have lied so much.
