So Carlin and Asman just talking about the Dexter Lawrence requesting a trade.

See what the Giants could get for him. He has not performed all that great over the last couple of years for the Giants.

He wants more money. The Giants are saying, no, no, we're good. So now he wants to be traded. He's not going to come to any of the offseason workouts. And we'll see what the Giants could get for him. But I wanted to mention that if you want to talk about it. We're more than willing to do it. We're going to do some baseball right at the start. The Mets had a really good weekend in San Francisco. That's what you want. you want to go in and you want to beat bad teams. And the Giants right now are a bad team. So the Mets took three out of four. You take it, you run with it, and then you come back home. So all in all, a four and three road trip. They lost two out of three of the Cardinals. They shouldn't have done that. But then they came back and they won three out of four against the Giants. So good stuff for the Mets. Still waiting to see what the decision is going to be when it comes to Juan Soto. How long will they wait? How long will they wait before putting him on the IL? And if they put him on IL how long is it going to take so he's undergone an MRI and the one thing that you always notice about Soto just go to baseball reference and check this out or the back of his baseball card guy posts up every day plays every day never wants a day off so if this guy goes on the iL um for 10 days that's telling you something and i've always told you this if you listen to the show you know that

i feel strongly about this calf injuries are a bear it's a long time to come back from it. Everything works off that part of the body,

and you just do not want to mess with that. I know that he's probably pressuring the Mets.

I can play. I could play. But the bottom line is the Mets have to say discretion is the better part

of valor. So they didn't say what degree it was, what degree the injury was, but they said it was not as bad as it could have been.

So good, that's knock on wood.

But that doesn't mean that you put them into the game on Tuesday.
