The latest news in the NFL coaching carousel happened during Barton Carlin's show is that the Dolphins have fired Mike McDaniel,

a very bright offensive line, offensive mind, who kind of got caught, you know,

with Tua on a big contract and Tua got hurt and some of the things that Mike McDaniel

would like to do, they couldn't do, but this guy, I don't know if he's going to be a head coach right away, but boy, now you've

got a really attractive offensive coordinator if you are looking to do that in one of these

open spots.

And now there are eight open spots with the dolphins open and the Ravens open and the six previous that we knew about.

But the only thing that's concerning is if you're the Giants, it looked like McDaniels was staying.

But they fire him when John Harbaugh becomes available.

So did they do that, knowing that they could or might have a real shot at John Hallbaugh?

Is this now suddenly the biggest threat for the Giants?
