Kirk Cousins is much, much more than that.

And he is something else because the Falcons quarterback in the headlines today as the premiere of the new docu series, the second season of quarterback came out on Netflix.

And Kirk Cousins is all the rage on social media as he looks back on his 2024 season and even the offseason that led him signing with the Atlanta Falcons, Kerry Rhodes.

We're going to hear from Cousins in a bit. But when you look back at a season that he tried to come back from an Achilles injury, battle injuries as well, and was ultimately replaced by Michael Pennix Jr. I think ultimately you could say it was not a successful season for the veteran quarterback. It was not a success for him personally, except for the pockets, right? He got a nice little pay raise, so I think that was okay. But as far as playing the way that I'm sure he wanted to, that did not go the way I wanted to. He wanted it to. And this is what Kirk Cousins had to say because Kerry is not wrong. It's always been about the pockets and it's always been about the money with Kirk Cousins. Take a listen to what the Falcons quarterback had to say from Netflix and the new quarterback docu-series. I wasn't expecting us to take a quarterback so high.

At the time, it felt like I had been a little bit misled, or certainly if I had the

information around free agency, it certainly would have affected my decision.

I had no reason to leave Minnesota with how much we loved it there if both teams are

going to be drafting a quarterback high.

But I've also learned in 12 years in this league that you're not entitled to anything.

It's all about being able to earn your spot and prove yourself.

No, he said a lot there.

Contradicting as well.

And his actions, I say, would say otherwise.
