As the late winter fell away, the sun rising with one trophy already under their belts.

Liverpool sprung into action during the changing of seasons with no let up in their assault on the

Premiership's top three the FAA cup and UEFA cup. Alongside me as ever our

resident read Dan K Dan how are you keeping we're we're're getting towards the meaty stuff now.

We are, this is what we've all been kind of putting the ground working for,

the, um, in the same way that you know, we're starting to see the weather improve and the leaves come back on the trees and the flowers start to bloom.

In the best football seasons, this is when the best football team start to bloom.

And this is very much what we saw from

Liverpool 20 years ago it was it was still you know having had a quick look over

the fixtures it was still a little bit of an up and down month but there was some

you know some big occasions in there that really shows how

this young developing team under Gerard who they had really started to grow and

evolve and you know really kind of hone that winning mentality which would you know really bear coming to really

really full effect as the season got to the business end.

Yeah it was really sort of quarter final month as it were with sort FAA up and you have a couple.

We're getting to fixtures in particular in a bit, but you should say there like up and down

month, I remember when we were talking sort of through August, September and maybe even into October, but certainly from the turn of the

calendar year into 2001, Liverpool becomes this rampaging winning machine

getting through the knockout competitions and really sort of applying themselves

well in the Premier League.
