What was your reaction when you found out that Chris Paul had been traded to the Houston rocket?

Right, so if you if you recall at the time

I think the expectation was that if they were gonna get Chris Paul

It was gonna be in free agency

So that was the first big shock, but even stepping back from that despite all the interest that was rumored to be had from both sides

I still I thought I thought Chris Paul was using the rockets as leverage

I thought he was gonna return to the Clippers

I thought there might be interest in this first

I don't think anybody really realized the extent of that relationship that James Harden and Chris Paul somehow at some point had been developing

I in secret they seem to be best friends suddenly and I because it seems like around the league you know of the high end

Friendships that exist I mean there was so much that was made of Kevin Durant and James Harden from their time in Oklahoma

So I didn't know what the rockets have a chance but I had no idea that these two guys were seemingly plotting something or were on such a good terms and the rockets were in the picture

But clearly that was the case and so yeah when that happened I was absolutely Lord

I mean it was so that I mean everyone just as soon as fate accomplished that he was gonna opt out

But now he has maybe some financial reasons to do that if he plays as well and then he could get the five-year deal this year
