Well, I'm coming to you live from Plastic Surgery 2017, and this is the annual

meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, or ASPS. Now, ASPS is the main society for board certified plastic

surgeons and over 90% of board certified plastic surgeons are a member of

ASPS and every year we gather together in a certain location around the country to network, to share the latest and greatest, and to give lectures and educate each other on plastic surgery, kind of newest things going on.

Now I'm only here for a couple of days. I gave a talk yesterday and I gave a couple of talks today on social media on television and some of the latest things going on in that space.

So I'd like to do with you today though is go over some of the hot topics in

plastic surgery today that we've talked about at this meeting and so this

meeting does cover also reconstructive surgery So there are plastic surgeons here who do

mainly cleft lip and palate repair, others that do mainly burn surgery, and

still others that do mainly reconstructive surgery after cancer.

But I'm going to focus today on some of the latest and greatest

in cosmetic treatments, because that's where my specialty lies.

So the first thing I'd like to bring up with you is a new type of filler.

Now if you've been listening to the holistic plastic surgery show or you are a

plastic surgery patient you know about injectable fillers like Restelaine and Jupiter.

But what you probably haven't heard of are some of the new fat fillers.

Now, fat grafting or fat injection I've been doing since 2003.

But there is a new type of filler that is basically an off-the-shelf fat filler.

And there's one that is called aloe fill and basically what this is is this is

is fat taken from cadavers that is purified and separated and you can use it to
