And welcome to the No Dunks podcast on the Athletic Network. It's Thursday. January 5th, 2023. I'm Jay E. Skeeth here in the Classic Factory and alongside me, as always. That's Tass Melis. What's up, everybody? Next to Tassie, it's the beard of one, Mattasha Hot Boy, Trey Kirby. Hey, yo! Hey, yo! And last but not least, making the magic wipes open. J.D. Hello. There he is, and here we are. Hit the wrong button. That's all right. That's all right. Shout out to the stream team joining us live right now on YouTube. We love to see it. Comment away, like away, subscribe away, all you podcast listeners, leave your boys a five-star rating and review, and send in your questions and comments to no dunks at theathletic.com. We're going to try and get to all 12 games from last night on this very podcast. But first, we had a wedgy. Yes, we did. And it had been two weeks since we had a wedgy. We didn't have a wedge over the entire Christmas break.

But Jimmy Butler came through last night with a little up and under soft layup like

The definitive broadcaster. The broadcaster everyone listens to say the word wedgy. Yeah. And then they moved on very quickly. Yeah, that's fine. That's okay. That's okay. Wedge was said. It's respect. It's almost an afterthought now. It's just so in the nomenclature. Yeah. Yeah, good point. All right, so 12 games. We divided and conquered these. Well, we'll find out if we did, but we have like an interesting note, a take, a clip maybe, about all 12 games from last night. We're going to start with your Chicago Bulls snapping the Nets 12-game win streak. Yes, KD scored 44, so we told you to hit the over. You would have made a lot of money on that, the 28 and a half. Yeah, 28 in the first half. That was awesome. Yeah, but your team pulled it out in the end there, Trey, you know, a really, really solid win here for Chicago. I can't believe it. The Bulls are back in the playing tournament. They're back in the playing tournament right now. Withstood 44 from Kevin Durant and beat another top Eastern Conference team. Bowls are 2 in 1 against the Celtics, 2 and 0 against the Nets, 2 and 0 against the Bucks. And don't get me started on those dubious games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This was a balanced effort for Chicago, though. They never trailed after the first few minutes of this game. 22 points for Demar de Rosani had 10 in the fourth quarter, doing his fourth quarter clutch thing, as usual. Only 13 for Zach Levine. You get 35 points from your two leading scores.
