When I was like in high school, I remember my senior year, I wore the exact same pair of black parachute pants and a white V-neck every single day. You wore a white V-neck to school? A white V-neck every single day. Why? Or a white t-shirt, I don't know, a V-neck or whatever. Maybe I'm thinking V-neck because I used to wear white, I used to wear white V-neck. I used to wear white V-neck to work every day. Hey guys, episode 104. Just so everybody knows out there, we are filming this Wednesday, January 8th. And this will be out obviously Monday, which you're listening to right now. But I do want to give,

0:46.2

I've been watching news this morning

0:47.9

and talking to some friends back in LA.

0:50.2

Wow, the fire is out there.

0:52.4

Hopefully when you're listening to this,

0:54.3

it's under control,

0:55.2

but we have a lot of friends right up in the Brentwood area.

0:58.8

We have one friend that we were talking to last night.

1:01.3

He was we were FaceTiming.

1:03.0

You could see the flames over the house. We have a couple people in the Marina. We have another person in Santa Monica. So we have friends all over that area. The fire is specifically in Pacific Palo, the palisades and Malibu. The winds are supposed to be picking up even more today. So. There. Because we were talking to our friend and he was saying that they were saying wins could get up to 80 miles an hour and I don't ever remember living there and wins getting really anything. I don't remember that either. But there's those Santa Ana wins that come in like this time of year. I don't remember whipping 100 miles an hour. But fire and wind like that could be very devastating. So I hope that our friends stay safe. Obviously, the effort to get everybody out of there wasn't even put the fire out at this point. It was to get everybody out of that. So I don't even know the count or death toll or a lot of people lost a lot of stuff that's a really affluent neighborhood and something we're familiar with so a lot of places that we probably stop that you know the right before we moved to come here to Colorado lost so much just a baby and we were at the high school was it is it Pacific Palace it's high burned down. Yeah. We were there watching fireworks.

2:25.6

Oh, that's right.

2:26.7

That's right.

2:27.5

And then what we went for our engagement dinner, masterls on the beach, our buddy said it burnt out. I haven't seen official news of that yet. Yeah, but our friends said it did burn down. And I'm wondering if like the Brentwood market, where we used to go through all the time, I wonder if that's safe.

2:43.2

I don't think it's that far.

2:44.9

It's not far from the Pacific

2:46.1

Pal say no, it's not far from it,

2:47.8

but I don't think it's that far. I don't. It's not far from the Pacific Palsay. No, it's not far from it, but I don't think it's gotten that far up. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Anyways, I just want to give a shout out. Like, so I hate the word thoughts and prayers because it doesn't do anything, but thoughts and prayers, you know, like to people out there because though I hope it's under control when you're listening to it right now because those winds and that type of fire are very devastating and California man, it's apocalyptic. He's getting just some weird stuff. Some weird stuff. And then after COVID, you know, it kind of went down a little bit, but yeah, for everybody. And then also, since we're talking about devastating stuff, and I know this happened in the New Years was what happened in Louisiana, what they were calling a terrorist attack. That bothered me so bad. I just felt so bad. Like the next day, I just wanted to cry all day. Yeah. Just things like that and just prayers to Louisiana. I know that was New Year's and it's already the eighth,

3:46.9

but I do wanna say that.

3:48.0

It's weird that like three days later,

3:52.5

they played the sugar bowl at the super domain,

3:56.0

people are taking video on Bourbon Street,
